Miguel Uribe Turbay is in a “extremely critical condition” following a brain injury he sustained ten days ago, according to medical professionals caring for the Colombian presidential candidate.
According to a hospital statement, Uribe had emergency surgery on Monday to stop a brain bleed.
His wife urged Colombians to pray for his recovery, stating that the hours following the procedure would be crucial.
