Hours before the first night, the 43-year-old American singer-songwriter abruptly canceled the first two performances of her Las Vegas residency, according to Radar Online.
Clarkson announced on Instagram that she had to postpone the residency due to vocal problems and the need to “protect” herself from “doing serious damage.”
She said in her statement that she was “devastated” over the cancellation of the events and that she would take some time to recover before returning to offer “what you all deserve.”
However, after paying for costly rooms and flights in Las Vegas, many fans were upset over the last-minute change.
