Israeli forces are accused by the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) of targeting its headquarters in the Gaza Strip, killing one employee and wounding three more.
The attack “sparked a fire in the building” early on Sunday, according to the humanitarian organization.
The PRCS described the midnight attack on the facility in the southern city of Khan Younis as “deliberate” and stated that the site of its headquarters was “clearly marked with the protective red emblem” and “well known” to the Israeli forces.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) informed the media that it was investigating the allegation that “uninvolved individuals in the Khan Younis area were harmed as a result of an IDF strike” and that a PRCS facility was damaged.
