Israel’s intention to take over Gaza City has been sharply denounced by Pakistan, which has described it as a risky escalation in an already devastating confrontation against the Palestinian people.
The decision was condemned by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who stated, “The Israeli cabinet’s approval to illegally occupy Gaza City represents a severe intensification of a war already causing widespread devastation.”
“The current humanitarian crisis will worsen as a result of this military operation extension. “Any remaining chances for peace in the region are eliminated by such actions,” the premier stated.
The prime minister emphasized the importance of identifying the underlying roots of the current catastrophe. “Peace will remain a distant dream so long as Israel continues its occupation of Palestinian land,” he stated.
