According to a recent Bloomberg report, Pakistan has become one of the few nations to successfully negotiate a trade deal with the United States during Donald Trump’s presidency.
While the development has raised concerns in New Delhi, it has bolstered hope in Islamabad.
Pakistan improves relations with America
Pakistan is “playing its cards right” with the Trump administration, according to Bloomberg’s research. Deeper economic cooperation has become possible as a result of the US president’s increasing interest in Pakistan’s natural resources, especially its reserves of gold, copper, and oil.
Trump will not engage in trade negotiations with India until the tariff dispute is settled.
Pakistan is a key participant in the global resource market since it possesses the greatest gold and copper reserves in the world.
