According to police and the victim, a Filipino woman who traveled from Japan to Karachi to collect her late husband’s inheritance was shot and hurt by her brother-in-law in Malir’s Millat Garden on Friday.
On August 3, the mother, Delia Alberto Nasir, and her kids arrived in Karachi.
She claimed to have come to take control of her late husband’s Millat Garden property.
Police said that during the argument, her brother-in-law, who is Danish, fired at her, striking her in the chest and leg.
