On the basis of merit, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has declared that 100,000 gifted students in Pakistan will receive free laptops.
In his remarks at Tuesday’s International Youth Day celebration in Islamabad, the prime minister made this announcement.
Students from AJK, Gilgit Baltistan, the federal capital, and all four provinces will receive the laptops.
The prime minister emphasized during the ceremony that there will be no nepotism or favoritism involved and that the distribution process will be solely merit-based.
