The military’s media wing reported on Friday that Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, who is now in Pakistan on an official visit, met with Field Marshal Asim Munir, the Chief of Army Staff, in Islamabad.
According to a statement from Inter-Services Public Relations, “discussions focused on regional security, counter-terrorism, and matters of mutual interest.”
According to the statement, both parties reaffirmed their commitment to improving coordination in regional and global fora and fortifying the all-weather strategic alliance.
