KARACHI: The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) claimed to have discovered a significant terrorist network and safe houses functioning in Karachi on Saturday, announcing the arrest of six people connected to India’s spy agency Research and Analysis Wing (RAW).
CTD said the operation was conducted in collaboration with federal intelligence.
The CTD went on to say that a whole RAW network was compromised.
At a press briefing, CTD Additional Inspector General Azad Khan stated that the guys were taken into custody on July 8 in relation to the May 18, 2025, murder of a 45-year-old man in Badin.
Investigators discovered a larger network during questioning that was purportedly operated by Sanjay, a foreign-based RAW operator who maintained communication with the suspects and planned the scheme.
