ISLAMABAD: On Friday, the Foreign Office denied rumors that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi would meet during the SCO Summit in China, according to The News.
Foreign Office spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan reiterated Pakistan’s readiness to have a composite discussion with India during the weekly media briefing, even in the face of what he called New Delhi’s recent provocative missile launches.
We want to discuss all issues, including terrorism, not just terrorism. India claims they will only discuss terrorism. We won’t hold back while talking about terrorism. This would only be one topic discussed in the composite discourse, but we have comprehensive and in-depth proof of India’s terrorist attacks against Pakistan,” the official stated.
