ISLAMABAD: According to a first information report (FIR), police claimed to have video evidence against PTI founder Imran Khan for his attendance at the Jinnah House on May 9, 2023, riots, leading to the arrest of his nephews, Shershah and Shahrez.
Shershah was accused of attacking police officers during the rioting, according to the FIR, which also claimed that the police had a video recording proving his presence on the site.
The defendant was officially apprehended on Friday, and the prosecution, together with the PTI officials, encouraged workers to vandalize the Jinnah House, according to the court’s motion for Shershah’s 30-day remand.
