ROME: In honor of Independence Day and Maarka-e-Haq, the Pakistani Embassy in Rome has launched a special Chaunsa Mango Gelato in partnership with Frigidarium, the city’s best gelateria.
The “Chaunsa Gelato Festival”, held at Piazza Navona, drew a diverse crowd including diplomats, business leaders, officials, tourists, and members of the Pakistani community.
The gelato, which combined Pakistan’s famous Chaunsa mango with Italian artisanal craftsmanship, was hailed by guests for its rich flavor and scent.
The owner of Frigidarium and master of gelato, Fabrizio, praised the fruit’s quality, calling Chaunsa mangoes “outstanding” with “impressive natural sweetness and texture,” which makes them perfect for producing gelato.
