Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif received a farewell call at Prime Minister House from Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Al-Zaabi, the United Arab Emirates’ (UAE) departing ambassador to Pakistan.
During the meeting, which was also attended by Foreign Secretary Amna Baloch, Defense Minister Khawaja Mohammad Asif, Minister of State Bilal Azhar Kiyani, and SAPM Tariq Fatemi, PM Shehbaz congratulated the ambassador on the successful conclusion of his term in Pakistan and thanked him for his contribution to the development of Pakistan-UAE relations.
The premier praised the leadership of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the president of the United Arab Emirates and the ruler of Dubai, in establishing deeper links between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates, which reflected the two nations’ long-standing, strong, and fraternal ties.
