The former intern for the White House turned activist, who gained notoriety for her relationship with former US president Bill Clinton, is the face of a new workwear campaign by Los Angeles-based sustainable apparel brand Reformation, which aims to get Americans to cast ballots in the next presidential election.
Known as You Have The Power, On the brand’s website, Ms. Lewinsky, fifty, can be shown sporting an array of high-end fashion pieces, such as a £298 red skirt and top two-piece set and a £798 leather trench coat.
The £88 crewneck sweatshirt with the You’ve Got The Power emblem is part of the collection, which was made in collaboration with the Vote.org website, which informs voters nationwide.
“Monica has long been a champion for women, encouraging them to speak up and feel strong. Thus, it stands to reason that she would assist us in doing the same,” the website says.
“And while great clothes won’t fix everything, putting them on and going to the polls is a pretty good place to start.”
