During their Monday meeting, Premier League teams were unable to reach an agreement with the English Football League on funding.
The clubs were recently informed that should they fail to come to an agreement with the news, it will be forced upon them.
“There isn’t an offer,” Preston North End executive director Ridsdale stated to news Radio 5 Live.
“It’s very frustrating for the whole of English football.”
It was anticipated that the Premier League would present concrete recommendations to the news following its meeting on Monday.
The entire amount is anticipated to be roughly £900 million over time, with a portion dependent on future TV income.
“English football is finished if we don’t keep it competitive and sustainable,” claims Peter Ridsdale.
According to Peter Ridsdale, "English football is finished" unless it can remain "competitive and sustainable" financially.
