Detective Sergeant Gary Knight of the police says that all five of them seem to have been slain.
He said, “These are five people who were killed; this wasn’t a carbon monoxide situation or anything like that.”
According to Mr. Knight, among the bodies discovered at the house on Oklahoma City’s southwest side were a male and a woman.
Charles Bradley, the superintendent of Mustang Public Schools, reported that two of the victims were now enrolled pupils, one in sixth grade and the other in ninth, and that the fifth victim was a recent school graduate.
The school community was “shocked, and our hearts are broken, this tragedy simply defies understanding,” he said in an email sent to parents on Monday.
