For the Xbox Series and PlayStation 5, game publisher Bethesda released free updates for the next generation of consoles, which improved graphics, fixed bugs, and increased frame rates.
PlayStation users stand to gain the most from the update, as AMD’s FidelityFX Super Resolution product for PC gaming and the Xbox Series both improve the graphics and framerates of older games.
Fallout New Vegas even outsold Call of Duty Warzone, which is a free game, at the time of writing. The TV show’s premiere has catapulted Fallout game titles back into the Top Sellers category on the PC gaming platform Steam.
