As part of the White House’s intensifying conflict with America’s oldest university, the Trump administration will order US federal agencies to examine their grants to Harvard University in order to possibly terminate or reallocate money.
According to a senior White House source, the Government Services Agency (GSA) intends to send out a letter to agencies “requesting that they identify any contracts with Harvard, and whether they can be cancelled or redirected elsewhere.”
According to the administration, some 30 contracts totaling $100 million (£74 million) may be subject to scrutiny.
A request for comment from Harvard University was not immediately answered.
