On Tuesday, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif thanked President Ilham Aliyev of the Republic of Azerbaijan for Azerbaijan’s steadfast support of Pakistan in the current confrontation between India and Pakistan.
The prime minister thanked the president of Azerbaijan in a message posted on his official X wall.
“It was a privilege to meet my beloved brother President Ilham Aliyev today in the lovely and tranquil city of Lachin,” PM Shehbaz stated. I expressed my gratitude to him for Azerbaijan’s steadfast backing of Pakistan during the most recent Pakistan-India crisis.
The prime minister points out that both leaders have reiterated their commitment to strengthening Pakistan-Azerbaijani relations in every area and to keep cooperating for peace and development in the region.
