The Central Power Purchasing Agency (CPPA) has submitted an application to Nepra asking for the power purchase price for the upcoming fiscal year to be determined.
An estimate of the projected power purchase price per unit is Rs. 25.03 to Rs. 27.11.
On May 21, Nepra will hear the CPPA application. If it is approved, a notification will be sent out.
According to SAMAA TV, plans appear to have been finalized to impose an extra trillion rupee cost on electricity users.
