The president of Northwestern University is allegedly obstructing congressional investigators’ inquiries into the university’s handling of anti-Israel disturbances on campus.
The chairperson of the House Education and Workforce Committee, Rep. Virginia ,., blasted Northwestern University officials in a letter she sent on Friday for not getting back to members’ inquiries that were made about a month ago.
“Unfortunately, rather than being cooperative and transparent, Northwestern has obstructed the committee’s investigation,” news stated.
According to news, Northwestern’s silence on the issue suggests that the institution hasn’t been taking antisemitism seriously on campus and that Jewish students there aren’t any safer now than they were a month ago.
