Co-hosted by Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates, the International Cricket Council (ICC) Champions Trophy 2025 has made cricket history with 368 billion minutes of global viewership.
This incredible number is a significant 19% increase from the previous edition, which was held in England and Wales in 2017 and in which Pakistan won the Champions Trophy by defeating bitter rivals India by 180 runs in the final at The Oval, according to a recent ICC press release cited by the Pakistan Cricket Board on Friday.
After a 29-year break, the 2025 tournament successfully returned an ICC event to Pakistani soil, with India and New Zealand facing off in an exciting final in the United Arab Emirates.
