Following Queen Margrethe II’s unexpected abdication, Princess Mary of Denmark will take over as queen after 23 years, replacing her hairdresser.
Following Queen Margrethe’s revelation that she was abdicating as monarch, Princess Mary’s hairstylist, Soren Hedegaard, has made a significant announcement.
“Dear Friends, with a change of throne in view and the end of 2023, I have also chosen a change in my life,” Soren said on Instagram.
“I hand over the hat to the next generation on 14/1 2024, having served as HKH Crown Princess Mary’s hairdresser for 23 years.”
He went on, “I’ll always hold in my heart these memories and friendships from these 23 incredible and unforgettable years.”
“I hope that my life will remain colorful and dynamic in the years to come, as it has always been.”
