Since then, Ferrara has further reinforced his bond with first responders, visiting firehouses while on tour.
“When I tour as a comic, I like to stop at all the firehouses and just, you know, shake hands and thank ’em.
Just say hi to the men and women who work there.
“The meal at the firehouse is sacred,” he explained. I mean, that’s where all the family business is done. That is where issues are addressed or initiated. It’s exactly like any other house. And when I’m asked to sit at that table, I consider it an honor because I know how much it means to the boys.
