Balochistan is celebrating its 77th Independence Day with a number of festivities. On August 12, there were two significant events in Quetta, to which Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti of Balochistan was invited as the chief guest.
August 7–10 was the inaugural event, which was the Balochistan Independence Day Open Shooting Championship. A cavalry and javelin display was the second event. Various teams showcased their skills by participating in these compactions.
The ceremony was enhanced with color by Baloch ethnic dance and Balochi Chap. In addition, children, the Pakistan Army, the Frontier Corps, the Balochstan constabulary, Cadet College Mustang students, and others participated in show jumps. An exhibition polo match between the Pakistan Army and the Balochistan Constabulary was also held during the event.
