Speaking on Wednesday at the National Youth Convention in Islamabad, which Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was also present at, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to defeating terrorism.
Speaking at the Islamabad event, the army commander stated, “Pakistan’s future is in safe hands,” and he added that the prosperity of the nation is ensured by a strong relationship between the people, the government, and the army.
He continued by saying that it is the duty of the government to shield the country from the negative impacts of social media. Furthermore, according to Gen. Munir, the individuals who constructed the story of Pakistan’s default are no longer in existence.
