QUETTA: Police told Geo News on Monday that at least 23 passengers who were on their way to their destinations died after being offloaded from buses and trucks in the Rarasham region of Musakhel, Balochistan.
When describing the incident, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ayub Achakzai said that armed individuals had stopped the interprovincial route in order to carry out the massacre.
As rescuers rushed the injured and dead to the hospital, police and Levies personnel moved swiftly to repel the onslaught, he continued.
