At a Leabank apartment off Wauluds Bank Drive on Friday, the bodies of Juliana Prosper, 48, Giselle Prosper, 13, and Kyle Prosper, 16, were discovered.
At Luton Magistrates’ Court on Monday morning, Nicholas Prosper, of Leabank, confirmed his identity and birthdate while wearing a grey jumper.
The victims’ brother and son, Prosper, has also been accused of several additional offenses, the court heard.
Prosper is accused of having possession of a shotgun on September 13 and of buying or obtaining a 12-ball Nikko shotgun in Luton without a certificate, according to the court’s list.
Prosper was additionally accused of having a kitchen knife in a public area on Bramingham Road on September 13.
Prosper made a brief appearance in the dock, and family members filled the public gallery of the court.
Robert Borwick, the deputy district judge, remanded Prosper into jail and directed him to show up for a preliminary hearing on Wednesday at Luton Crown Court.
Juliana Prosper, according to a friend of the victim, “lived for her children” and was “a positive person who will be so terribly missed.”.
