Multan: Zartaj Gul, the leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and a former federal minister, was ordered to be released by the Multan Bench of the Lahore High Court (LHC).
Zartaj Gul’s counsel came in court when the petition was filed against his imprisonment, and LHC Multan Bench Justice Muhammad Waheed Khan heard the case.
Following the legal arguments, Justice Muhammad Waheed Khan issued an order for Zartaj Gul’s release and an immediate end to her confinement.
PTI’s protest resulted to Zartaj Gul’s arrest by Khan, and her husband petitioned the court to have her held without charge.
