Dr. Wasim, the acting police surgeon of Hyderabad (head of the board), Dr. Tahir Qureshi, the AMS (medico-legal) of Liaquat University Hospital (LUH) in Hyderabad, Prof. Dr. Wahid Nahiyoon, the forensic expert of LUMHS, Dr. Rahil Khan, the pathologist, and other medical professionals collected thirteen samples from the body, X-rayed the entire corpse in front of Judge Aamir Rajput, and reburied the body.
Members of the board informed the media that samples taken from Dr. Shahnawaz’s corpse will be forwarded for chemical examination to an appropriate laboratory. They stated that their results should be available in about a month.
