After Ashley Tisdale went public about leaving what she described as a “toxic” mom group, fellow celebrity mom Meghan Trainor has finally weighed in—with a touch of humor.
Ashley, who recently began using her married name professionally, French, wrote a viral essay for The Cut, sharing how she felt isolated by her former inner circle of mom friends. She explained, “I began to wonder whether that was really true,” and decided to end her relationship with the group through a text, adding, “This is too high school for me, and I don’t want to take part in it anymore.”
Meghan, who shares Riley, 4, and Barry, 2, with husband Daryl Sabara, responded with a TikTok video posted on January 8. In it, she sat at a computer mimicking typing and looking surprised. The caption read, “Me finding out about the apparent mom group drama,” while her single Still Don’t Care played in the background. The chorus says, “Let me take a moment to think it over, doesn’t touch me at all. I still don’t care. Let me check again, nope, I still don’t care.” She added a row of tea emojis, keeping the tone playful.
Hilary’s husband, Matthew Koma, did weigh in humorously on Instagram with a fake magazine cover poking fun at the situation.
