KARACHI: Sindh Home Minister Zia Ul Hassan Lanjar announced on Monday that the police and Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) had detained three terrorists, including a woman, who killed two Chinese nationals and three others in a devastating explosion near the Karachi airport.
“The woman facilitator Gul Nisa and Javed alias Sami, the mastermind of the [airport] attack, were arrested from RCD highway [which connects Karachi to Quetta],” the provincial minister stated at a press conference alongside Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Ghulam Nabi Memon.
Three individuals were killed in a huge explosion that happened on a road close to Jinnah International Airport last month, and at least sixteen others, including another Chinese national, were injured.
