KARACHI: According to General Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff (COAS), the state is also in charge of safeguarding the nation’s “digital borders” and guarantees the “digital security” of its citizens.
Speaking to Karachi’s business community on Wednesday, the army commander said he is confident in Pakistan’s secure and bright future and was upbeat about the nation’s economic development.
According to COAS Munir, he had already reminded everyone that “hopelessness is forbidden” at the last meeting with the business community.
“While those who made claims about the country’s default are nowhere to be seen,” he said, the country’s economic indicators turned positive and will continue to improve next year.
