A female from Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) was detained by Forward Kahuta police for entering Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) without a visa and without authorization.

After unlawfully crossing the Line of Control (LoC) over the promise of marriage, the girl—who was identified as Fatima—arrived in AJK.

In response to alerts about the girl’s presence in the neighborhood, the police raided a home in Kearney Village, arrested the girl, and filed a first information report (FIR).

Police claim that on November 24, Fatima crossed the Line of Control and arrived in Poonch district in order to wed the man of her choosing. Her friend Imran, meantime, brought the girl to his house.
