Prepare to look up at the sky because this month’s full moon, sometimes referred to as the “Strawberry Moon,” will provide a singular celestial display.
The Strawberry Moon in June will be the lowest full moon of the year from north of the equator and one of the furthest from the sun, in addition to being the last full moon of spring in the Northern Hemisphere.
The moon will attain its full phase on Wednesday, June 11, Pakistan Standard Time, at 12:43 a.m. This happens on the same day at 3:45 a.m. for people in Eastern Daylight Time.
When viewed from the Northern Hemisphere, the full moon in June always appears lower in the sky.
