ISLAMABAD: The accountability court staff in Islamabad informed Monday that the £190 million ruling in the case against Imran Khan, the founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), will be made public on January 13.
The court officials stated that both the PTI’s attorney and the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) prosecutor had been informed of the decision to postpone the verdict, despite Judge Nasir Javed Rana being on leave.
The result in the aforementioned case, also known as the Al-Qadir Trust case, was originally due to be announced on December 23 but was postponed by the court. This is the second time the verdict, which was reserved on December 18, has been postponed.
