In spite of Donald Trump’s previous comments against Prince Harry, King Charles and Prince William might embark on a royal tour to the US in an effort to deepen UK relations with the US.
A top source in the UK government claims that the monarch and the Prince of Wales will support the strengthening of the two countries’ “special relationship.”
The insider told The Times that the action is viewed as a means for the UK to strengthen diplomatic ties with the US and exercise its soft power.
According to the insider, Donald Trump clearly has a soft spot for the Royal Family. “He spoke highly of King Charles, recently met Prince William, and had a great relationship with the late Queen.”
