The announcement of the Netflix series Building the Band’s launch, which features Liam Payne’s last performance on a show, has generated controversy due to rumors that the late singer’s family has not yet granted their final clearance.
The One Direction member had finished filming Building the Band, a Netflix series, with Nicole Scherzinger of Pussycat Dolls, Kelly Rowland of Destiny’s Child, and AJ McLean of the Backstreet Boys the summer before he passed away.
Liam was one of the judges on the show, which aimed to identify “the next great music group” by selecting gifted vocalists from all around the nation and placing them in groups according to quality and musical compatibility.
