After being denied entry to the Adiala Prison on Thursday, Faisal Chaudhry, the attorney for imprisoned Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, got into a verbal fight with the jail’s management.
In the footage, which is accessible through Geo News, the attorney is heard hurling a barrage of insults at jail Assistant Superintendent Imran Riaz during his visit to meet Imran, who is detained at Adiala jail.
Chaudhry said, “Why was I stopped…who dares not clear me?” to the policeman. In the meantime, the lawyer is heard receiving explanations from the assistant superintendent.
Chaudhry filed a complaint against the Adiala Jail Chowki management after the altercation.
He insisted in his application that his “power of attorney” is a part of every case.
