According to an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement, at least three terrorists were slain on Friday during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the North Waziristan district.
The military’s media wing further stated that when security forces battled the terrorists, they were trying to flee while wearing the burqa, a garment used by women.
The IBO on the reported presence of terrorists was carried out in the Datta Khel general area on the evenings of February 6 and 7.
“During the conduct of the operation, own troops effectively engaged the khwarij location as a result of which three khwarij were sent to hell, who were trying to escape wearing women attire (burqa),” the military’s media arm stated.
Security forces personnel also retrieved firearms and ammo from the deceased.
