Sheeran posted a teaser for his upcoming album, Play, on Instagram on Thursday. The album is slated for release on September 12, 2025.
The Old Phone singer revealed a startling detail about the album’s production in the caption.
“The album Play was created as a direct reaction to the darkest time in my life,” Sheeran wrote.
“After all of that, I just wanted to explore the cultures of the countries I was touring and create joy and technicolor,” he continued.
