Sharifullah, a Daesh terrorist, has entered a guilty plea to aiding in the planning of the Abbey Gate attack, according to confirmation from the US Department of Justice.
The terrorist acknowledged helping to carry out the attack by giving logistical support and route information. For providing resources to extremists, he will go to trial.
The Justice Department claims that Sharifullah admitted to helping to plan the attack and gave information on routes close to the airport. He would face prosecution for assisting terrorism, officials said.
