ISLAMABAD The National Assembly has once again unanimously endorsed Pakistan’s military response to India’s recent actions, demonstrating the country’s unity.
Lawmakers from a range of political parties supported the military and praised its unwavering efforts to protect the nation’s sovereignty.
At least 31 people were murdered in an unprovoked Indian cross-border attack on May 7, marking the most recent escalation in the long-running animosity between India and Pakistan. Pakistan responded by bringing down dozens of drones and five fighter jets, including three Rafale.
The military has shot down about 80 drones that India continues to send into Pakistani territory, including the medium-altitude, long-endurance IAI Heron unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), which are manufactured in Israel.
