ISLAMABAD Amid new attempts to obtain respite for the imprisoned founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), a number of Pakistani doctors and businessmen who were previously engaged in tactful diplomacy about Imran Khan have returned to Pakistan.
Arriving this week, the delegation is currently in Lahore after apparently meeting with Imran Khan and a top official during a prior visit to Islamabad a few months ago.
Although it is unclear whether any contact has been had with any important authorities, sources indicate the group has not yet been able to arrange a meeting with Khan on this visit. It is thought that next week will be crucial for their interactions.
