Ambassador Fu Cong, the People’s Republic of China’s Permanent Representative to the UN, paid a visit to the high-level parliamentary delegation headed by Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party and a former foreign minister.
Discussion topics included Pakistan’s persistent attempts to maintain peace and stability and the changing security landscape in South Asia following India’s recent aggressiveness.
During the meeting, Bilawal conveyed the Pakistani people’s sincere appreciation for China’s unwavering support during Indian provocation.
He updated the Chinese side on the events that transpired after the April 22 Pahalgam attack and Pakistan’s responsible and controlled response to India’s aggressive stance.
