The main suspect in the murder of TikToker Sana Yousaf, Umar Hayat, has allegedly confessed to killing the 17-year-old social media star after she repeatedly declined to meet him, marking a significant advancement in the investigation.
Umar Hayat, who masqueraded as a wealthy landlord but is actually the son of a retired Grade-16 government employee, made two trips from Faisalabad to Islamabad in a hired luxury SUV in an attempt to meet Sana, according to police sources.
Murder prompted by rejection
Hayat showed up at Sana’s house in a leased SUV on May 29, the day of her birthday, carrying cake and presents. But the victim wouldn’t allow him to see him.
