An attack leads to two Kurram soldiers martyred and seven others injured due to cross-border Afghan terrorism on the security forces checkpost Hasan Mela.
As published reports on Thursday, the attackers were reported to have come from Nangarhar province of Afghanistan, mounting an assault on the checkpost sited within Lukman Khel Tangi region of Hussain Mela which borders Pakistan.
The local tribes raised a militia (lashkar) and managed to capture one of the armed militants. The captured attacker went on to confess through a video statement that he had been given arms by the Taliban to execute the assault.
