Ishaq Dar, the deputy prime minister and foreign minister, stated on Wednesday that the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and other allies’ concerns about budgetary suggestions will be taken into consideration in order to settle disputes peacefully.
In an effort to reduce tensions among coalition partners, Dar addressed the National Assembly on important budgetary matters.
He reassured the house that a number of issues, including the controversial digital tax, had been settled by consensus and consultation.
After consulting with all parties involved, Dar affirmed that provincial jurisdiction will continue to govern service taxes.
