According to a German diplomatic source who spoke to Reuters, the foreign ministers of Germany, France, and Britain will meet with their Iranian counterpart on Friday in Geneva to discuss nuclear issues.
Before having a combined meeting with the Iranian foreign minister, the ministers will first meet with Kaja Kallas, the senior diplomat for the European Union, at Germany’s permanent mission in Geneva, the source said.
Following Israel’s extensive military assault on its arch-enemy Iran last week, which prompted Iran to launch waves of missiles at Israeli targets in retaliation, the European move comes amid concerns of a Middle East crisis that is spiraling out of control.
