According to the Gaza health ministry administered by Hamas, Israeli gunfire has killed at least 30 Palestinians close to humanitarian delivery locations managed by the US-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation.
The was informed by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) that its soldiers fired warning shots at individuals who were threatening them.
After Israel partially removed a three-month embargo that the UN claimed had driven the Gazan population to the verge of hunger, hundreds of Palestinians were killed while attempting to obtain food from the GHF sites.
According to UN human rights chief Volker Turk, “Israel’s means and methods of warfare are inflicting horrifying, unconscionable suffering on Palestinians in Gaza.”
